United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Computation x Code

Through CxC, I have encouraged women and minorities to pursue learning computer science by allowing students to learn about the impact of computer science and algorithms in our lives.

About the Millennium Fellow

Gwendolyn Seto is currently a senior at Columbia University studying Operations Research (the study of optimization) with a concentration in Engineering Management Systems and minors in Economics and Entrepreneurship. She has great interest in advocating for diversity in computer science and technology. On campus, she is highly involved in the Emerging Scholars Program (a program funded by the National Center for Women & Information Technology that encourages women and underrepresented groups to pursue learning about technology), Engineers Without Borders, and CU INFORMS (the Columbia University chapter of the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences).
