" I'm thrilled to be a Millennium Fellow because it empowers me to amplify my impact in championing female entrepreneurship globally. I believe that equitable economic opportunities can transform lives, and I'm passionate about breaking down barriers that hinder women's success. Through this fellowship, I'm eager to collaborate with like-minded changemakers and accelerate progress towards a more inclusive future. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Women and Combating Climate Change
My initiative, MAOrganics, is a social enterprise dedicated to addressing climate change, period poverty, and women's empowerment in Pakistan. In a country where climate crises frequently devastate vulnerable populations, women often bear the brunt of the impact, particularly during natural disasters like floods. They face heightened challenges in accessing menstrual hygiene products, healthcare, and essential resources, which exacerbates existing inequalities. Through MAOrganics, I aim to bridge these gaps by focusing on sustainable, eco-friendly solutions and supporting women in flood-prone regions. I have researched to better understand the challenges faced by these communities and am committed to finding practical solutions that can make a meaningful difference in their lives.
