Because I want to reduce the number of people who suffer. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Agrarian Harmony
Agrarian Harmony designed to empower low-income communities by promoting sustainable agriculture and self-sufficiency in food production. The project aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2: Zero Hunger and SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
The initiative aims to provide individuals with resources such as egg-laying chickens and kitchen gardening tools, enabling them to cultivate vegetables and produce eggs at home. This approach not only ensures food security for households but also creates opportunities for economic empowerment through surplus produce. By encouraging community farming practices and responsible food production, Agrarian Harmony addresses issues of hunger, unemployment, and sustainability, fostering a harmonious relationship between communities and their agricultural roots.
This project also incorporates education and collaboration with NGOs, focusing on capacity building and raising awareness about sustainable farming techniques to amplify its impact.
