Millennium Fellowship Project: Redefining Feminity "Gender Based Violence-Sexual Abuse"
This project aims to redefine feminity as the topic antails. It focuses on majorly gender based violence-sexual abuse on the girl child and women to be precised. It aims to debunk the myths around sexual abuse and navigate cultural barriers that encourages sexual abuse especially on children.
About the Millennium Fellow
Precious Obimma Turuchi is an intelligent, goal driven, young lady who is keen about bringing change to the global space. She was born in Nigeria and currently resides in Nigeria. She is a student of International Relations which she currently studies in Covenant University. For the longest time, Precious has always been passionate about adovacating for women's right and justice against child sexual abuse. This passion has so helped her pursue her desires for justice by being involved with movements and programs that are already in place to achieve this goal. She hopes to also build a community of like minded people through her impeccable leadership skills and commitment to seeing justice take it's full course while bringing about awareness on these issues. With this, she is able to contribute to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and make the world a more humane place.
