United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: 10 Taka Bazar

"10 Taka Bazaar" to support these struggling tea workers, we launched the "10 Taka Bazaar" project. This initiative provides tea workers with a week's worth of essential food supplies for just 10 BDT. Each package includes:Rice,Lentils,Soybean oil,Onions,Flour.
The "10 Takar Bazaar" concluded with smiles and gratitude from the tea workers, as we provided essential groceries at an affordable price. Our efforts not only brought much-needed relief but also highlighted the power of collective action in addressing inequality. The success of this initiative, recognized by local media, showcased how small steps can make a big difference in the lives of marginalized communities. Through our dedication, we demonstrated the true spirit of empathy and social responsibility.

About the Millennium Fellow

Asma Binte Rashid is a young individual, who has a knack for learning new things and who always try to work for the betterment of her surroundings. Her extrovert personality allows her to communicate with people from all walks. Since high school, Asma has worked in various voluntary organisations and collected funds for charity. Currently she is completing her BBA from University of Chittagong with the major in Banking and Insurance. She has participated in various competitions and programmes, that have helped her mindset to grow in a positive environment.
Asma has the potential to bring a change to her community, along with this whole world. She is hopeful that Millennium Fellowship will give her the opportunity to shine brighter in her life.
