Millennium Fellowship Project: 10 Taka Bazar
"10 Taka Bazaar" to support these struggling tea workers, we launched the "10 Taka Bazaar" project. This initiative provides tea workers with a week's worth of essential food supplies for just 10 BDT. Each package includes:Rice,Lentils,Soybean oil,Onions,Flour.
The "10 Takar Bazaar" concluded with smiles and gratitude from the tea workers, as we provided essential groceries at an affordable price. Our efforts not only brought much-needed relief but also highlighted the power of collective action in addressing inequality. The success of this initiative, recognized by local media, showcased how small steps can make a big difference in the lives of marginalized communities. Through our dedication, we demonstrated the true spirit of empathy and social responsibility.
About the Millennium Fellow
Mabsurah Morshed is a diligent student who is enthusiastic about social work and volunteering. She was born and reared in Chittagong, Bangladesh, and currently pursuing her bachelor's in Business Administration at University of Chittagong. Throughout her school and college life, she has actively participated in a variety of extra curricular activities and organized multiple events at her university. She has demonstrated excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities . She is a strong advocate for her beliefs and is not afraid to voice them. Her integrity and work ethics are commendable. Her values of empathy and concern for the society’s welfare and advancement will make positive contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
