" Curiosity, adaptability and leadership drive me in every decision I take. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship will enhance these skills collaboratively. The skills I gain from the Millennium Fellowship will make my environmental impact on schools and communities around it, also, spread the art of dancing into communities that are not so tangible to be economically able to have dance schools. I am excited to learn new ways to inspire students to increase their spirit of helping the environment. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Cardinal's Sharing

Cardinal's Sharing - Pro 356 is a basketball program designed to empower underprivileged youth in Mexico City. The program aims to create a safe and positive environment for children to learn basketball, build friendships, and develop life skills. We believe basketball can be a powerful tool to keep children engaged and
motivated to pursue their dreams.

About the Millennium Fellow

Marian Gálvez Hernández is a brilliant, assertive and young International Business Student at the Centro Universitario Incarnate Word, Campus Mexico City. Since she was in elementary school, Marian has been passionate about the importance of the economy around the world and how it is not perfect for everyone; also, she likes to share her strength for fighting for women's rights in Mexico. Through her high school years and currently in her college years, she has successfully organised and worked on various projects to inspire little girls and young women to understand and how to succeed in an economic world that is most likely to be encouraged by men. She has been an incredible leader for her class since they've been in High School and she plans to continue in the future. Marian aspires to be in a professional field where she can apply all these skills, and provide her unique experience in the development of the United Nations' mission.
