" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it provides an opportunity to engage deeply with global peers on critical issues like corruption. Tackling corruption is essential to ensuring transparency, fairness, and justice in society, and I am eager to contribute to initiatives that address these challenges head-on. Through the Fellowship, I hope to gain insights, develop impactful strategies, and collaborate with others to foster integrity and accountability in our systems. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Mission Ethics And Equity
The ‘Mission Ethics and Equity’ is a dual-focused initiative that integrates two essential components: the provision of legal aid services and anti-corruption efforts. Legal aid which is a right enshrined in the Indian Constitution, is crucial for ensuring that justice is accessible to everyone irrespective of socio-economic status. However marginalized populations often lack legal representation or awareness of their rights. This project addresses this gap by providing educational sessions, community outreach and individualized support to enhance legal literacy and safeguard rights.
