" I am thrilled to be a Millennium Fellow, as enthusiasm and vigilance are the driving forces behind my work. Joining the Millennium Fellowship will allow me to further develop these skills through collaboration. This opportunity will help me achieve my goal of promoting environmental sustainability and supporting affected communities. The skills I gain from the Millennium Fellowship will enhance the impact of my efforts on communities and campaigns, ensuring they align more closely with the UNAI principles and SDGs. My motivation stems from a desire to protect the environment and make the earth a better place for everyone. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Handbook Of Rights

The MCN Handbook of Rights project, led by our Millennium Fellowship cohort, empowers underprivileged university workers by providing accessible information on employment rights, labor laws, and government schemes. Aligned with SDGs 4 (Quality Education) and 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), the project simplifies complex regulations into an easy-to-understand handbook featuring visual aids. Through targeted distribution and awareness sessions, the initiative aims to increase workers' awareness of their rights, enhance confidence in claiming entitlements, and create a lasting resource for their benefit. Despite challenges in accessibility and engagement, the project envisions broader dissemination and digital expansion to ensure sustainable impact.
