" Freidrich Neitzche said "The child is innocence and forgetting, a new beginning, a game, a self-propelling wheel, a first movement, a sacred yes." The Work I intend on doing is aimed at improving the lives of these children and providing them with the means to protect themselves and preserve their own lives. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Handbook Of Rights
The MCN Handbook of Rights project, led by our Millennium Fellowship cohort, empowers underprivileged university workers by providing accessible information on employment rights, labor laws, and government schemes. Aligned with SDGs 4 (Quality Education) and 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), the project simplifies complex regulations into an easy-to-understand handbook featuring visual aids. Through targeted distribution and awareness sessions, the initiative aims to increase workers' awareness of their rights, enhance confidence in claiming entitlements, and create a lasting resource for their benefit. Despite challenges in accessibility and engagement, the project envisions broader dissemination and digital expansion to ensure sustainable impact.
