" I am eager to make a constructive contribution to the society I am a part of. I am passionate about establishing a just environment in which women and young girls can thrive. Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will provide me with the necessary experience, allowing me to pursue gender justice and become a champion for women. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Handbook Of Rights
The MCN Handbook of Rights project, led by our Millennium Fellowship cohort, empowers underprivileged university workers by providing accessible information on employment rights, labor laws, and government schemes. Aligned with SDGs 4 (Quality Education) and 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), the project simplifies complex regulations into an easy-to-understand handbook featuring visual aids. Through targeted distribution and awareness sessions, the initiative aims to increase workers' awareness of their rights, enhance confidence in claiming entitlements, and create a lasting resource for their benefit. Despite challenges in accessibility and engagement, the project envisions broader dissemination and digital expansion to ensure sustainable impact.
