Brain Cafe seeks to remove the marginalization in education due to social class, gender, religion across different tribes and ethnicities. By arranging activities such as book drives and interactive activities such sit downs with the local community, here we try to empower everyone and enlighten them about the superpower that education and information is and it's ability not to just change the world around us but also our own inner world, our minds,
About the Millennium Fellow
Laura Nyambura Njoroge, who is more partial to being called Lau ,is a lot of things. For one, her upbringing in Kenya has always put at the center at trying to balance her culture and her passion for learning about the world through science ,literature and art . Since her primary years and all through highschool ,her constant and unwaivering faith in the power of education has been able to keep her curious,sensitized to what is happening outside her bubble and dreaming bigger with every passing year. Currently she is in her first year studying Civil Engineering in Dedan Kimathi University. Despite how fast her world is expanding before her, she is not afraid . As she believes her love of knowledge and community will empower her and others. She is seeing the world in technicolour and loving all the hues ready to embrace all the opportunities.
