" Empowering rural women is more than a mission—it's my purpose. My work focuses on advocating for the economic and social upliftment of women in rural areas. As the President of WICCI's Economic Empowerment Council for Rajasthan, I am dedicated to amplifying their voices and creating sustainable change. Joining the Millennium Fellowship excites me because it offers a global platform to collaborate with like-minded individuals, share innovative solutions and strengthen my commitment to building resilient communities where women are at the forefront of progress. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Economic Empowerment Council, Rajasthan

The WICCI Economic Empowerment Council, Rajasthan is on a mission to empower rural women of Rajasthan economically. We focus on breaking down the barriers that limit their access to resources, finance and markets. Our goal is simple—help women become financially independent and active contributors to their communities.
We organize donation drives to provide immediate relief to women and their families, addressing their basic needs. Through partnerships with organizations like WWF NGO, we host entrepreneurship melas, giving women a platform to showcase their skills and products and connect with new markets. Our research and advocacy work aims to influence policy changes that create more opportunities for women’s economic participation.
We envision a future where women have equal access to resources and opportunities, driving their own growth. Through these initiatives, we hope to create lasting change, reduce gender inequality, and promote inclusive economic growth across Rajasthan.
