United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Unblur

The project aims to address mental health awareness and understanding in a slum community, focusing on distinguishing between mental health and mental illness. The primary goal is to educate residents on how mental health affects overall well-being and how mental illness can be treated and managed, combating stigma and promoting acceptance.

About the Millennium Fellow

Bulbul Singh, a mental health advocate working at the grassroots level,her passion is fueled by her own struggles in accessing affordable, quality care. Dedicated to reducing stigma and enhancing resource accessibility, she works to bridge the treatment gap for teenagers. Currently pursuing a BA (Honors) in Psychology at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, she remains committed to her cause
