University of Delhi South Campus | New Delhi, India | Advancing SDG 5, SDG 8, SDG 10 & UNAI 2

" I am thrilled to join a global network of changemakers who are as passionate as I am about driving impactful solutions in Environmental Sustainability, Empowering Education, and Gender Equity. As a Millennium Fellow, this opportunity allows me to not only deepen my understanding of these critical issues but also to actively contribute to shaping a more equitable and sustainable world. I'm excited to learn, collaborate, and turn ideas into actions that create lasting impact. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Kalakriti
Project Kalakriti entails empowering women, especially vulnerable sections of women, through hand-painted clothing and accessories endowed with traditional Indian arts like Madhubani, Warli, Aipan, etc., and selling these items at college fests, social events, online markets, etc.
In the project, I had planned to formulate a team, procure funding, and create a platform for these women to showcase their immense potential. My project covers UN SDG 5 (Gender Equality), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and 10 (Reduced Inequalities). I was also looking for potential NGOs/SHGs/groups for collaborations based in New Delhi for the same.
