Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Intentional Living
PIL is dedicated to advancing SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production by promoting intentionality in everyday choices. It envisions a world where individuals consciously embrace sustainable lifestyles, fostering personal fulfillment while ensuring planetary well-being.
Mission:
PIL seeks to make intentional living a mainstream movement by raising awareness, sharing actionable strategies, and empowering communities to adopt habits that align with sustainability goals.
Activities:
Awareness Campaigns: Educating individuals about the environmental and social impacts of consumption through workshops, social media content, and events.
Resource Development: Providing practical tools, such as guides and checklists, to help people make informed, sustainable choices.
Community Engagement: Building a global network of changemakers who advocate for responsible consumption practices.
Impact Goals:
Encourage sustainable consumption behaviors in diverse communities.
Drive long-term changes in consumption patterns to reduce environmental degradation.
Empower individuals to live more purposeful and impactful lives.
Through its efforts, Project Intentional Living strives to demonstrate how intentionality can balance personal aspirations with global sustainability needs.
About the Millennium Fellow
Kasvi, a final-year Economics Honors student at the University of Delhi, is driven by a deep-rooted belief that one's legacy is defined by their contributions to the world. With a sharp intellect and a compassionate heart, Kasvi is determined to make a lasting impact through her work. Her project, focused on shaping consumer habits to tackle the problem of overconsumption and promote responsible production, reflects her commitment to creating a more sustainable and equitable future. As a Millennium Fellow, Kasvi is taking the first step towards fulfilling her vision of helping and healing- beings and the World.
