University of Delhi South Campus | New Delhi, India | Advancing SDG 4, SDG 10 & UNAI 5

" As a Millennium Fellow, I am excited to drive change where it's needed most—among rural Indian women and girls. My work is fueled by a commitment to dismantle financial dependency and foster self-reliance. By empowering young women with education and financial literacy, I aim to break the cycle of economic exclusion and help them realize their potential. This fellowship offers a platform to amplify their voices and build a future where they stand strong, not just as artisans but as leaders of their own destiny. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Get Going Girls!
Project aims to build confidence among the rural Indian Based girl child to continue their education to build the career paths that lead to the journey of Financial Independence. The grown need of dependence on the male counterparts for the financial demands has reduced the abilities of the girl child to take the front seat in the decisions affecting her life. Thus, a change in her education that makes her stand for her own is our aim with the project.
