" "I believe in the transformative power of education and the boundless potential of every child. By providing the underprivileged with essential skills and support, we open doors to employment and higher education, enabling them to reshape their futures. I am where I am today because someone believed in my dreams. Now, I am committed to being that believer for others, ensuring every child has the opportunity to achieve what the world might never expect." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Aagah

Project Aagah by Enactus Gargi is dedicated to empowering underprivileged individuals by bridging the gap between traditional textbook knowledge and the practical skills required for employment and higher education. The project focuses on upskilling these communities, offering them tools and opportunities to thrive in a competitive world. Through the Aagah Fellowship Programme, participants are taught essential subjects like civic and environmental awareness, personality development, technical skills, verbal and analytical reasoning, and entrepreneurship, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.
Additionally, Aagah has a unique mental health initiative called ViMeT (Virtual Mental Therapy). This vertical provides accessible mental health discussions and expert advice, fostering awareness and acceptance of mental health issues. The initiative includes interactive sessions on topics like body dysmorphia, emotional intelligence, and behavioral motivations, along with art and dance therapy. These sessions are conducted at minimal or no cost to participants, ensuring inclusivity.
One of ViMeT’s notable initiatives was a mental health picnic that brought participants together to relax and clear their minds in a supportive environment. Several engaging games and activities were organized, such as writing postcards to loved ones and bursting balloons labeled with personal challenges. These activities encouraged emotional release, mindfulness, and self-expression. Participants also shared their thoughts in a safe space, fostering community bonding and normalizing conversations about mental health. The event successfully provided practical tools for managing stress and enhancing emotional well-being. Upcoming activities under ViMeT aim to continue blending education with interactive, supportive environments to further mental health awareness and promote holistic well-being.
