Millennium Fellowship Project: EduEquality: Empowering Women Through Quality Education

Education: Empowering Women through Quality Education This project is about dissemination of education to underprivileged section especially girls who unfortunately lett behind in getting this basic right to education. Through this project, we spread awareness regarding the importance of education in slum areas, poverty stricken places where we encourage mothers to send their children to government schools where they can get proper education. Along with this initiative, we also spread regarding women issues, how they can get equality and can empower themselves

About the Millennium Fellow

Sakshi yadav is an intelligent, empathetic and astute political science( honours) student , Indraprastha college for women, University of Delhi ( India).
She was born in a small district of Uttar Pradesh(state) i.e. Firozabad in India. She is currently studying in Indraprastha college for women, University of Delhi. Her course is BA political science honours.she was always passionate about making this world a better place than yesterday. Since school time, she volunteered for this cause in different ways. She taught Underprivileged students, participated in activities where she proliferated awareness regarding different socio- political issues that individual especially women face in a country like India. After joining the Central University of India in the capital City, New Delhi, she got access to NGOs and community programs through which she helped different communities, students, elderly person and differently abled individual. Currently, she is also part of Ehsaas for community foundation which works extensively for different sections of Indian society in Delhi.she also volunteered for empowerment cell in her college which provides help to differently abled students in College. Sakshi wants to transform society positively where she can empower women, children, elderly women and differently abled individual. She can fulfill it by the help of the United Nations' sustainable Development Goals.
