" " 'Let us sacrifice our today so our children can have a better tomorrow' -APJ Abdul Kalam. A world rampant with crime, corruption, injustice and poverty is a dystopia. And yet here we are. It feels so surreal and nihilistic. Who knows what small changes can bring? The potential is why we try after all. If the small changes I make at Millennium Fellowship causes positive effects on the world., what harm is there in trying? " "
Millennium Fellowship Project: GranthaRatna (Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan)
GranthaRatna, in collaboration with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan initiative by Delhi University, focused on empowering rural communities, particularly in Jharoda village, through education and social awareness. Key initiatives included establishing a Model Learning Centre and a Community Library to provide access to educational resources, career counseling, and skill development opportunities. These efforts sought to foster literacy, improve socio-economic conditions, and promote sustainable community development by addressing gaps in education, sanitation, and awareness of government welfare schemes.
