" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it provides me with an opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share a passion for social justice and advocacy. The fellowship will allow me to amplify my efforts towards empowering women and underserved communities, while also equipping me with the skills to make a more meaningful impact. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Project Udaan

Our initiative, under the Millennium Fellowship 2024 and supported by the United Nations, focuses on empowering underprivileged female students through career counseling in government schools. Recognizing that many young women lack awareness of available scholarships, career pathways, and educational resources, my project addresses this gap by providing structured guidance and resources tailored to their needs. The goal is to equip these students with the knowledge to make informed career choices, thereby promoting gender equity in education and employment. By raising awareness of diverse career options and available support systems, my initiative aims to foster self-confidence and independence among participants. This social impact project not only empowers individuals but also contributes to breaking the cycle of educational and economic disparity, ultimately supporting a more inclusive and equitable society.
