" Being a part of Millennium Fellowship would enhance my skills and experience in the field of volunteering. As an upcoming sociologist my goal is to reach out and understand as many humans as possible as well as understanding the social structure and institutions. My creativity and skill enhancement would be broadened in the midst of my fellow millennials. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Unnati
Project Unnati means " PROGRESSION" . Through our project we aim to bring a
progression to the lives of our community members. It mainly focuses on two sustainable goals which is Quality Education and Gender Equality .Our primary goal for this project is Quality Education through which we will focus on Gender Equality. Our primary focus is here the "FREEDOM OF CHOICE" regarding their education, According to me Quality Education is where the students are given the freedom of choice to select their path of education irrespective of the gender norms and the constraints of the society . I have seen both my male and female acquaintances getting affected by these norms where they are restricted or they have too much expectations to fulfill which in turn affects their mental health. Through our initiative, Project Unnati, our goal is to empower community members with a transformative educational experience, promoting the values of Freedom of Choice, Gender Equality, and Mental Health.
