Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Tawwaqo

For over two years, Project Tawwaqo has been a steadfast advocate for Afghan refugee women, empowering them to break free from economic dependence and build a brighter future. Recognizing the stark reality of limited formal employment options, the project was meticulously designed to bridge this crucial gap, providing these resilient women with a pathway towards financial stability and a newfound sense of dignity.
Our journey commenced with a profound vision: to cultivate self-reliance and unwavering confidence within the refugee community. Over the past two years, we have diligently supported these women in transforming their rich cultural heritage and indomitable spirit into exquisite handcrafted products. Through meticulously crafted skill development programs and unwavering mentorship, we have equipped them with the essential tools to translate their immense potential into concrete economic achievements.
