University of Delhi South Campus | New Delhi, India | Advancing SDG 5, SDG 4, SDG 17 & UNAI 6

" As a passionate advocate for women's rights and social justice, being part of the Millennium Fellowship represents a unique opportunity to amplify my impact and connect with like-minded individuals who share a commitment to global change. The Fellowship's emphasis on social impact, leadership, and SDGs aligns with my ongoing work through The.Women.Story. Joining this program would not only enhance my skills in advocacy and leadership but also provide a platform to collaborate with peers from diverse backgrounds, allowing me to contribute more effectively to the global movement for equality and human rights. The Millennium Fellowship offers a space to learn, grow, and further the mission of creating a more just and inclusive world, which resonates deeply with my values and aspirations. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Red is Resilient
Red is Resilient is an initiative to discuss period poverty in India, especially in slum areas. We collaborated with Janki Devi Memorial College, Delhi University NCC, and conducted workshops and sessions on menstrual health awareness, breaking the taboo around periods, and educating the youth. We also planned a short skit for children to understand the same, followed by a pad distribution drive.
