" I am doing excited to be a millennium Fellow since this provides me with a platform to enable me be able to carry out my advocacy skills on climate change in collaboration with other fellows "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Green Farm Project

The project is aimed at creating awareness to farmers on the effects of climate change and how they can ensure they use the best agricultural practices to create resilience. Among some of the agricultural practices include planting of flood resistant crops, creation of dams for water harvesting among other. My project also targets women and girlsbof reproductive age as I try to help them cope with how the effects of floods in my area affect their sexual and reproductive health rights.

About the Millennium Fellow

I am Patricia Wangeci Nganga, a young climate change warrior who is passionate about creating sustainable solutions for the advancement of sexual and reproductive health rights among young girls and women in my community.
