I am excited to join the Millennium Fellowship so that I can exploit my energy on creativity thinking and ideas and help the fellowship meet it's UN SDGs that will go hand in hand with UNAI. The knowledge, skills and experience gained from the fellowship will enable me to change my community by imparting knowledge and ideas so that we can have a stable social life in the world. Am looking forward to coordinate with other fellows so that we can share and exchange ideas that will lead to development. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Elevating Drugs And Substance Abuse
The title of the project is, curbing drug and substance abuse in kiptogot sub location, which suffers a myriad of challenges with drug and substance being the epicenter of every problem. The project aims at carrying out public participation and develop and implement policies that can help curb the problem, that is in existence over the two decades
About the Millennium Fellow
Patrick Kadaghi Macleans, a young, energetic, bright and enthusiastic leader with great vision and a view of changing the world to be a better place. He was born in Kenya, Trans-Nzoia county, Endebess sub county. He was so ideal during his academic and leadership in primary and secondary levels of education. Up to date, he's a student at Egerton University taking bachelor of Arts in Geography and Kiswahili. He is displaying a transformertive leadership skills and ideas while in campus. He's currently the chairperson of peer counseling association Egerton University Njoro campus. He is an advocate for good governance, climate change, social justice and community development. With his idealism, he has managed to counsel 123 students within and outside the campus. Currently working on fighting drug and substance use in his sub county and also educating the youths about good governance and responsible leadership. He's looking forward to work with Millennium Fellowship so that he can impart as many people as he can all over the world.
