United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: GO GREEN

GO GREEN is a project that focuses on increasing vegetation cover by planting and growing trees to combat climate change. The project was designed to be conducted in rural areas with derelict land and marginalized areas to improve the environmental conditions and biodiversity.

About the Millennium Fellow

Vincent Omondi Oyula is a young dedicated and result driven law student at Egerton university. He is a Kenyan citizen by birth and resides in Nakuru-Kenya. Growing up he has potrayed interest in fighting for others and this has strengthened his passion in environmental justice, social justice and rights of the minority. He has complementary experience in leadership and aims at providing honest service through teamwork and facilitating an environment that promotes career development and understanding. Vincent is a cooperative individual who greatly values cooperates and aspires to grow his knowledge, skills and abilities in a way that will positively impact the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
