Millennium Fellowship Project: Gender Inequality
My project was focusing on fighting against FGM which was under the SGC (gender inequality).Alot of girls around afrika,Kenya have been a victim of the act .I have personally interacted with some of them and they are living with pain inflicted by the society due to lack of education.Im passionate on bringing changes in this communities because I come from one of them .
About the Millennium Fellow
Vivian jeptanui korir is a bright,young and confident students taking bachelor in agricultural engineering at Egerton university in Kenya.she has been raised in Kenya , Nakuru county.Vivian as always been an active student in advocating against female genital mutilation which has affected some of the communities around her home .She has been able to visit several schools around this affected communities teaching them the importance of taking girls to school and the effect of mutilation .Vivian aspires to continue bringing change in the life's of Girls who aspires to be better but they lack the opportunity.
