Millennium Fellowship Project: School Nature Club Project
The school garden and mangrove protection club project in Bonthe Island Sierra Leone is to radically include school children into environmental protection and sustainable agricultural practices from an early age.
This project is to train the young minds to become a better Environmental advocates for their communities. We are bringing them into the mangrove Conservation work to understand the importance of mangrove ecosystem in their island communities.
About the Millennium Fellow
Amara Jones is a third year Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health Student at the Eastern Technical University of Sierra Leone West Africa. Amara Jones is a passionate climate change activist leading a profound climate actions in the rural communities in Sierra Leone.
