Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Youth Against Substance Abuse
This project is gearing towards raising awareness against Drugs and Substance Abuses amongst young people. It's a project that will enhanced young people to go against drugs and substance abuse in our community. It also helps to promote good health and quality education.
This project is aiming at zero drugs and substance abuse in the society.
About the Millennium Fellow
Lansana Sama is a young African (Sierra Leonean) and globally competitive pursuing Educational Administration and Management at the Eastern Technical University-Sierra Leone . He was born in Kailahun District ,Eastern Sierra Leone and has lived in Sierra Leone ever since. He is a young ,peassonate and talented individual who is motivated to take on challenges to transform society through youth capacity building, awareness raising on contemporary social issues affecting communities. His efforts in influencing positive change in society over the years have been quite remarkable .
From his high school onto his current university, he has been successfully participating in different voluntary projects and social awareness movements , taking leadership roles. Sama is interested in becoming a development professional who can contribute immensely to the development of his community and the world at large in line with United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals .
