" I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it provides me with an exceptional opportunity to further my enthusiasm for social change via group action. My motivation stems from the conviction that social media can be an effective instrument for spreading awareness and creating a worldwide influence. I am excited to work with like-minded people to change the world in a significant way. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Climate Revive

As part of the Climate Revive initiative under MCN, I organized a seminar on November 26, 2024, at Forman Christian College University (FCCU). The seminar featured Maryam Khan, a distinguished policymaker, as the guest speaker.
The event focused on addressing climate change mitigation strategies through effective policymaking. Maryam Khan provided insightful perspectives on crafting policies that balance environmental sustainability with economic growth. She highlighted actionable strategies for reducing carbon emissions, promoting renewable energy, and fostering community resilience in the face of climate change.
The seminar aimed to empower participants with a deeper understanding of policy-driven climate action and inspired attendees to advocate for sustainable practices within their respective spheres. This initiative furthered the mission of Climate Revive by bridging the gap between policymakers and young climate enthusiasts, fostering dialogue, and encouraging proactive engagement in environmental issues.
