" The hope of a changed country and education for a bright future drives my passion for justice and high-quality education. Being a part of the fellowship will undoubtedly help me achieve greater participation in this complex process. A young child with a vision to change her country due to all the insecurity and instability she had to see daily, that was me and is the reality of many children in Venezuela nowadays. My family supported me and believed in me, so I want to be that person for others who lack the means. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Ayudando a Chamos
The volunteer-run program “Ayudando a Chamos” aims to address the severe educational and food shortages in different areas of Venezuela. Beginning in places such as Isabelica, where shortages are most significant, this effort hopes to establish the groundwork for a national impact while restoring fundamental rights to Venezuelans. In collaboration with a helpful NGO, Ayudando a Chamos will supply materials and offer seasonal classes in essential academic areas, encouraging participants' enthusiasm and sustenance.
