Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Akhuwateers
Green Akhuwateers are a dedicated group of around 30 students from Akhuwat College for Women in Chakwal, passionately addressing climate change issues. Through awareness campaigns, tree planting initiatives, recycling prodeucts, sewing cloth bags, and sustainable practices, they aim to inspire their community and foster environmental stewardship. Their efforts not only contribute to the global fight against climate change but also empower young women to become leaders in sustainability. Together, they strive to create a greener, more sustainable future for all.
About the Millennium Fellow
Javerya Batool is a dedicated student of BS English Language and Literature. Actively engaged in community work, she is also pursuing prestigious fellowship programs, including Aspire and the Millennium Fellowship. Javerya is recognized for her effective communication skills, which complement her academic and extracurricular endeavors.
