Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Akhuwateers
Green Akhuwateers are a dedicated group of around 30 students from Akhuwat College for Women in Chakwal, passionately addressing climate change issues. Through awareness campaigns, tree planting initiatives, recycling prodeucts, sewing cloth bags, and sustainable practices, they aim to inspire their community and foster environmental stewardship. Their efforts not only contribute to the global fight against climate change but also empower young women to become leaders in sustainability. Together, they strive to create a greener, more sustainable future for all.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sadia is 19 years old, young, intelligent and competitive student of BS English at the institute of Akhuwat College for Women Chakwal affiliated with Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi. She was born in district Kasur and did her intermediate there but now she is studying in district Chakwal. From Childhood she was very passionate about doing something for her society. She has done many volunteers works for the betterment of Society. She wants to continue it in future so that she can become a productive member of this world and put her contribution in the development of Sustainable Goals of United Nation by using her abilities.
