Millennium Fellowship Project: Life of Little People in Kenema

This project focuses on addressing the challenges faced by Little People in Kenema, Sierra Leone. This project seeks to shed light on their unique struggles, including social exclusion, lack of representation, and limited access to opportunities. By documenting their experiences through interviews and storytelling, I aim to raise awareness, advocate for their rights, and inspire policy changes that promote inclusivity. My goal is to create a platform for marginalized voices, building a society that values and supports diversity. This initiative creates social impact by challenging stereotypes, promoting empathy, and encouraging action toward a more inclusive future.
To achieve this goal. I have conducted interviews with Little People in Kenema and stakeholders in Kenema and in Freetown, documenting their stories and challenges. These narratives are being shared to raise awareness and spark conversations about inclusivity. I have also engaged local stakeholders to discuss potential support systems for this community. Key milestones include gathering firsthand stories, creating awareness materials, and building connections with advocacy groups. The project has already started to foster dialogue and recognition of the issues faced by Little People, laying the groundwork for long-term social change.
