" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow to reach out to people who have the same passion and drive to make a sort of lasting impact on the world that is much greater than themselves and even just their university. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Urbonics

Urbonics is a project designed to tackle food insecurity in cities by providing a practical, sustainable hydroponic solution. Our system allows you to grow organic produce right in-house, ensuring a steady supply of fresh, high-quality vegetables no matter the season. Given your focus on farm-to-table ingredients, I think this could help you source even more local, fresh produce while reducing costs over time.

About the Millennium Fellow

Aditya Prabhakar is a bright, creative, and out-of-the-box student attending Georgia Tech, where he studies neuroscience. He aims to become a healthcare professional and plans to go on to medical school after graduating from Georgia Tech this year. His passion lies in the accessibility of resources, but most importantly, in the ability to create resources for oneself. This is why his sustainability project focuses on creating food sources for those in areas where fresh produce is not available. He aims to do this using frugal hydroponics! He hopes to find many people to support him in this effort and to join him on trips in his 4Runner, hiking, and exploring the world through food and culture!
