Millennium Fellowship Project: She Breaks Computing
Researching trends of what factors affect the decisions of women as they enter into the workforce. This includes investigation of cultural and socioeconomical pressures on their decisions.
About the Millennium Fellow
Melody Lee is a student pursuing computer science and a minor in mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Over the years, she has engaged in various engineering, computer science, and mathematics endeavors – ranging from robotics to philanthropic projects. Throughout it all, she has hoped to build an infrastructure that allows girls all over the world to choose their own futures. Melody aspires to be an academic, where she can encourage the up and coming generations to step beyond social pressures and limitations, and pursue their goals, thus furthering of the United Nations’ Sustainable goals.
