" As a student of law, the transformative power of knowledge and education has been a stark reality in my career path. Holistic human development in a nation such as India is heavily dependent on economic factors and I am excited about the pottential that this platform holds in actualising this transformative power that we as Millennium fellows being academics hold in regard to younger, impoverished and more vulnerable sections of society. I would love to see tangible development at the grassroots level. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Access to Justice and Mediation

One core component of my project is centered around the GNLU Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), where I’m actively involved. Our team is set to launch a mediation center that will provide free legal aid to underprivileged individuals who otherwise lack access to legal resources. This center not only aims to resolve disputes efficiently but also works to empower communities by making the legal process accessible. Through the Millennium Fellowship, I’m gaining insights into sustainable program models and learning from a vast alumni network of legal experts, which will be instrumental in expanding the mediation center’s reach and refining our approach to delivering impactful legal aid.
