United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" Driven by curiosity and hunger to bring a positive change, I would thirllednto be part of class of 2024. My project Samman aims to spread awareness about domestic violations to women belonging to disadvantaged sections of the society. I personally belive in bringing equity to women who have long been neglected in this patriarchal world. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Samman

Our initiative, titled "Samman," is focused on raising awareness about domestic violence. The primary objective is to educate women about their legal rights in combating domestic violence.

About the Millennium Fellow

Tisha Mehta is a law student studying at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar. She was born and raised in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Since her childhood she was always curious about gaining knowledge and advocating rights of animals and women. In order to advance her passion, she joined a law school wherein she learnt in depth about relevant laws and took note of grimming reality in the world. With Millennium Fellowship she wants to bring a positive change in the lines of disadvantaged women
