Millennium Fellowship Project: Recyclopedia
Recyclopedia: Know Before You Throw is a project led by Cayla Deane and Hannah Chambers, aiming to improve recycling practices at Griffith University. By integrating QR codes on bins, the initiative provides instant, clear information on what can and cannot be recycled. The project seeks to reduce contamination in recycling streams, promote sustainable waste management, and encourage behavioral change within the university community.
About the Millennium Fellow
Hi, my name is Hannah Chambers, although I am currently an undergraduate student, I have been immensely exposed to the rapid rate and changes in sea level rise. I have undertaken and currently take courses that expose me to potential methods that I can one day utilise to aid my country and others in surviving this global issue. Through interests in the construction of new infrastructure, slowing land shrinkage and raising roads I believe I am obtaining knowledge that one day may save the world.
