Millennium Fellowship Project: Tech Up Gombe
Tech Up Gombe aims to bridge the digital divide by equipping rural youth in Gombe State, Nigeria, with foundational digital skills. The project focuses on enabling access to technology and fostering digital literacy for underserved communities, creating pathways for social and economic inclusion in Nigeria's tech-driven economy.
About the Millennium Fellow
Muhammad Muhammad Tukur is a dedicated Computer Science student at Gombe State University, Nigeria, and a Class of 2024 Millennium Fellow. Passionate about community development, youth empowerment, and leveraging technology for social impact, he leads initiatives that focus on improving digital infrastructure and driving sustainable solutions. Muhammad is also the Google Developers Student Club Lead at his university, actively working to inspire the next generation of innovators. His commitment to fostering positive change and creating opportunities for underrepresented communities defines his approach to leadership and advocacy.
