United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Reshaping The Future

This project focuses on enhancing the right to education in higher and tertiary learning institutions for those living in low income societies through advocacy and litigation. It is provided for by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 which emphasises on affordable, equal and qualitative education for all.

About the Millennium Fellow

Pride Thandeka Ndlovu is a young, compassionate and outspoken man currently studying towards to his bachelor's of law in Great Zimbabwe University, Herbert Chitepo School of Law. He was born in a family of three and is middle child, as such, he always had the desire to be good leader. Considering such, he has been taking leadership roles throughout his life, the recent being the Vice President of the Students Executive Council within the University. He has played an active role advocating for students rights among many advocacy roles against human rights abuses and social injustices. Further more, his academic studies have also enabled him to understand the legal foundation of these rights and advocacy through the courts of law. He is also part of a plethora of human rights organizations either as an Executive Board member, member as well as alumni. He is inspired by leaders and authors like Dr Martin Luther King, Dr Joshua M. Nkomo and Simon Sinek who played vital roles towards the liberation of their countries, country men as well as inspiring books on the concept of leadership and how critical it is. His academic studies also enable him to understand the legal foundation of these rights and advocacy through the courts of law. One of his favourite quotes by Dr Martin Luther King, "Life's most pertinent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?" Hence, this has made him to focus on both the present and future and how he can play his part in ensuring the total realization of people's rights. As a result, this has made him dedicated to see the empowerment of the Sustainable Development Goals and global peace.
