" I’m excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it gives me the opportunity to further my commitment to sustainability and inclusivity while contributing to a more supportive environment for Harvard students returning to campus. The skills and experiences I gain from this fellowship will enhance my ability to problem solve and create actionable changes in my communities, which I can apply to my future work in social impact and community service. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Harvard Hunger Relief Initiative

The Harvard Hunger Relief Initiative is a comprehensive effort to address food insecurity among Harvard students and affiliates. Our mission is to provide a consistent, accessible, and stigma-free source of nutrition for individuals in need. This project involves establishing a permanent food pantry on campus, forging partnerships with local food suppliers, and creating a sustainable supply chain to ensure the long-term availability of resources. Alongside these efforts, we are conducting an extensive awareness campaign to educate the Harvard community about food insecurity and destigmatize seeking assistance. This initiative is a critical step toward fostering equity, inclusivity, and well-being on campus.
