" Expanding health equity knows no boundary. By harnessing the brilliance and excitement of young people, we are creating a movement rooted in data-driven research, mobilized by policy advocacy. The Millennium Fellowship will allow us to unleash our potential through leadership, community, and mentorship. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Health Disparities Think Tank
The Health Disparities Think Tank is the largest youth-led think tank combating health disparities from both a research and policy advocacy perspective. We are working with the 501c3 Federation of American Scientists (FAS) to leverage the brilliance of young trainees to research the factors underlying health disparities, receive mentorship from an expert in the field, and couple their work with actionable policy advocacy. With 100+ students from 30+ institutions incubated through our research and policy fellowships, we bridge the divide between research and policy, linking data with effective on-the-ground change. Our work is deeply rooted in the community: our network of 60+ mentors and policy advisors work at leading healthcare institutions, such as Mass General Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering, the Rian Immigrant Center, Cambridge Health Alliance, and more.
