" “Through the Millennium Fellowship, I look forward to embracing the opportunity to meet individuals from across the world and learn from the unique experiences of other fellows. I am excited to hear about all the projects that other fellows are conducting, and I am confident that gaining new and diverse perspectives on world issues will be vital in informing my own goals and trajectories for my work." Millennium Fellowship Project: Naloxone Education Initiative
I am leading an initiative to teach high school students across Massachusetts how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and how to respond using naloxone. This project arose out of a desire to address the ongoing opioid crisis through emphasizing the importance of harm reduction and education. I am collaborating with towns across the state to get this education into their high schools. Naloxone is a drug that is capable of immediately reversing an opioid overdose and saving lives.
