Harare Institute of Technology | Harare, Zimbabwe | Advancing SDG 4, SDG 1 & UNAI 3

" "A strong belief that every human is inherently blessed with talents for a global impact, and that these talents require nurturing for us all to realize our fullest potentials. I believe that Academics are a solid foundation in unlocking these talents, and through addressing SDG4, to some extent we seed towards addressing every other SDG." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Academics Unlocked
Academics Unlocked seeks to connect students from disadvantaged backgrounds with opportunities for financial assistance and access to quality education (SDG 4). Throughout my academic journey, My belief is that access to quality education is one of the keys to poverty eradication, and that every individual with a passion for academics should be afforded the chance to get an education. Donation drives, facilitating access to scholarship opportunities and crowd funding (philanthropists and the general public) will be the main financers of the project. In the long run, I hope to raise the awareness of pupils and parents alike, regarding the power of academics and how it can be a strong tool for positive social impact. Hopefully, in the near future and beyond, Academics Unlocked will continue to grow and provide access to quality education to more students both locally and globally.
