United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Sustainablity Savvy - Greenwise

Project GreenWise is an innovative initiative focused on educating university students and stakeholders about the significance of understanding and reducing carbon footprints. It aims to empower future leaders with essential tools for sustainable decision-making through interactive seminars and knowledge-sharing sessions. The project features insights from industry professionals and esteemed professors, promoting a culture of environmental awareness. By providing comprehensive training on carbon footprint calculation and reduction strategies, Project GreenWise aspires to inspire a generation dedicated to combating climate change and fostering sustainability in their communities and beyond.

About the Millennium Fellow

Krishna Gupta, a third year business management student at The Hongkong Polytechnic University, has demonstrated exceptional knowledge and skills in various business acumen. His dedication to his studies and active involvement in various extracurricular activities, such as leading a team of students and deploying IOT system in Rwanda and serving as financial secretary at PolyU Toastmasters club. Furthermore volunteering at Carbon neutral club have earned him praise. With a keen eye for detail, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for sustainability. Krishna is posed to make significant contributions to the world of business after graduation.
