" Inspiration, passion and tenancity - with theses qualities, changing the world is an eventuality. The idea of being a millennium fellow, of striving for true groundbreaking social change is a mesmerising one. I am ecstatic to have been afforded this opportunity, and look blissfully upon the horizon towards the hopeful future we will all inspire. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Beyond Borders - Unveiling Unheard Realities

Beyond Borders - Unveiling Unheard Realities is an original project aiming at creating a bridge between higher education students and the local community issues around them. As the competitive academic environment too often offers limited space and time for open, free, and constructive discussion. This initiative goes beyond the overly formal academic format and approaches social challenges by returning to the original means of politics: dialogue. By focusing on the UN goals, this initiative connects students from different backgrounds to create confidence and hope for better cooperation among the decision-makers of the future. Indeed, the core of the project consists of the valorization of intercultural dialogue to approach different current events and reflect together on civic action.
