" i've always been passionate about social work and human rights but never had a conducive environment to further the same. Millennium Fellowship gives me the platform to make a meaningful change by legitimising my goals and providing access to various channels to nurture my passion. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Jagran

Project Jagran aims to address the challenges of child labor, limited education access, and lack of awareness among underprivileged children. Through targeted sessions, it empowers students with essential knowledge and tools to shape better futures. The initiative recently conducted four impactful sessions: two for grades 6th to 8th focused on menstruation, periods, and legal rights, and two for grades 9th and 10th centered on CLAT preparation and mental health awareness. By tailoring content to the specific needs of each group, the project fosters informed decision-making and academic success while promoting awareness of fundamental rights and well-being. Collaborating with local schools and communities, Project Jagran directly contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals such as No Poverty (Goal 1), Quality Education (Goal 4), Good Health and Well-being (Goal 3), and Reduced Inequalities (Goal 10), creating a meaningful and lasting social impact.
