Millennium Fellowship Project: Bridges Beyond Borders
Bridges Beyond Borders is a two-part initiative dedicated to fostering national stability by addressing the pressing issue of addiction in South Africa and empowering individuals through political education. Our goal is to work in collaboration with organizations and foundations engaged in addiction recovery and to inspire individuals to become politically aware and active participants in society. Our project’s core belief is that sustainable national stability can only be achieved when individuals are empowered to regain control over their lives and are given the tools to understand and engage with their country's political systems.

Youssra has always supported social movements, starting with the Black Lives Matter protests and is currently engaged with the Palestinian liberation. Seeing that protests are a vital part of social movements, she even wants to go a step further and be actively involved in political decisions to make a lasting impact in our society. This is why she decided to do International relations and participate in projects such as these. She aspires to later in life work in a professional field where she can change something and achieve exactly what she has been working for.
